Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference? We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead the delivery of the Workforce Australia program across the Western Melbourne Region. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring high performance, strong compliance, revenue growth and exceptional service delivery outcomes.
About the Role As a Regional Manager, you will lead and inspire a culture of positive performance across multiple sites. You will ensure all areas achieve and exceed KPI targets, contract compliance requirements and revenue expectations, while maintaining a strong focus on quality service delivery. You will play a key role in strengthening SYC presence across the region, representing the organisation externally and identifying opportunities to grow and enhance our services. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive a high‑performance culture that delivers strong results and consistently meets organisational expectations.
- Motivate and support site managers across the region, providing coaching, guidance and ongoing development.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with industry, government, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Lead service delivery strategies to maximise outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic, operational and short‑term project planning within the Employment portfolio.
- Proactively identify and develop business opportunities across the region, working with the Leadership Team, Business Development and cross‑portfolio partners to drive performance.
- Lead, develop and support employees across the region - including recruitment, induction, performance management and ongoing coaching - while fostering a positive, collaborative and high‑performing team culture.
About You You are an experienced leader who understands a strong performance enables stronger community impact. You’ll bring a balance of commercial acumen and community insight, and you know how to motivate teams to deliver measurable outcomes while maintaining integrity and care. You’ll bring: - Proven experience in successfully managing and leading a result-driven team in a contract compliance environment.
- Experience working directly with key internal and external stakeholders, including management at a variety of levels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan, organise and establish a course of action for self and others to accomplish specific goals and quality outcomes.
- Demonstrate sound working knowledge of Government Employment Services, contractual requirements and KPIs and Health and Safety legislation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective cross-cultural relationships and be respectful and responsive to the needs, values, and experiences of others.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- The ability to manage resources often remotely, ensuring their availability and effective utilisation to meet client needs and to achieve set targets.
Key screening and requirements: - Must be willing to complete a Working with Children Check, National Police Check and Bankruptcy Check.
- Possession of a current valid Driver’s License, willingness to drive
- Occasional out of hours work, intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
