We’re seeking several permanent part‑time Therapeutic Care Workers to join our team across our residential sites in Nuriootpa, Evanston Park and Golden Grove, with available hours ranging from 15 to 30 per week. About the Role You will support young people in developing essential life skills and social competencies that promote their personal growth and strengthen their connection to the community. Your support will help them: - Settle into a home like environment
- Create a secure and consistent primary relationship
- Develop independent living skills
- Strengthen their capacity and links to the local community
- Work toward their goals and aspirations
Shifts & Roster - This program provides 24/7 care with consistent rotating shifts
- Sleepover and passive (overnight) shifts are available

About You You’ll engage, inspire and support young people to create positive experiences and build skills for independence. You will demonstrate: - The ability to form a secure attachment with young people
- Experience working with young people with complex trauma
- Skills in case planning, case noting and report writing
- A willingness to contribute to maintaining a clean, organised home environment, including supporting with meal preparation, food shopping and general household chores
- Flexibility, and a commitment to working at least three shifts per week.
For this role, you will need to: - Hold a minimum Certificate IV qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Youth Work, Social Work, Social Science, Counselling) or currently actively working towards a recognised relevant qualification in accordance with DCP requirements.
- Be willing to obtain or already hold a Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR certification, and a National Police Check
- Hold a current and valid First Aid & CPR certificate
- Hold a current and valid Full Driver Licence
- Have previously completed and passed a psychological assessment, or be willing to undertake one
- Hold a current and valid Safe Environments for Children & Young People: Through Their Eyes (including refreshers)
- Be eligible to work in Australia
- Beavailable to work afternoon/night shift from 4pm-8am including an 8-hour passive (overnight) sleep.
