Property and Assets Coordinator (Commercial)
Full Time - Kent Town, SA

We are looking for a dynamic Property and Assets Coordinator to join our passionate team at SYC. This is a great opportunity to bring your contractor coordination and property know-how into a role that really makes a difference.

As a key member of the Property and Assets team you will be instrumental in providing coordination and administration support with a focus on SYC commercial properties. You’ll be based at our Kent Town Head office on a permanent full-time basis.

Key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to: 

  • Supporting and coordinating commercial projects and office relocation, working closely with stakeholders.
  • Conducting quarterly and end-of-lease inspections, ensuring properties are well maintained and meet required standards.
  • Overseeing fleet users and suppliers, to ensure smooth operations and effectively managing the reporting of damages, fines, and other related matters.
  • Maintaining accurate records, contracts documentation for properties, assets and suppliers.
  • Coordinate trades and contractor to ensure high quality, cost effective outcomes.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team that thrives on rolling up its sleeves.

About You  

As someone who has excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will have the ability to work both autonomously, as well as an effective team member to achieve quality outcomes. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Customer focused, self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and a good sense of humor.
  • Previous administration experience.
  • Experience in administering property and facilities management or willingness to learn. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial property operations and lease management.
  • Experience with Property Tree and maintenance tracking software is desirable.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond to inquiries and produce quality documentation, including emails and reports.

For this role, you will need to: 

  • Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check, National Police Check 
  • Have possession of a current valid Driver’s License, willingness to drive, and your own registered vehicle with a 4–5-star ANCAP safety rating.
  • Be eligible to work in Australia.
